The things that you guys like about the teapot, besides the shape! are the colors...the way those happen is that those little crystals explode in the kiln to make the fun designs, while these are hand made and I try to keep them from touching each other, it does happen that there can be minor imperfections, which also add to the character.

Heat the water in a kettle or pot to the desired temperature.
At the same time, fill the teapot with hot water from your tap to pre-heat it.
When the water for tea is heated to the correct temperature, dump the pre-heating water out of the ceramic teapot.
Place leaves, teabag, or tea filled infuser into the teapot.
